The component is an Intersil ISL4353C in QFN24 package ([1] / [2])
Pins 1,23,24 connected with HDMI controller, pin 2 with RSX (are 4 traces at the bottom side of the board at the end of the HDMI "bus")
Toslink female surface connector pin 3 (Vin) (see pinout) goes to a 34 ohm resistor and from there to pin 7 of the tiny component in the photo labeled P3 125. Toslink female surface connector pin 2 (Vcc) is tied with a pin of AV connector and both goes to a component labeled 5A KC (transistor ?)
