== Description ==
It's a unique 16 byte (0x10) hexsequence inside your ps3. Its stored inside of eid0 section 0xA and is read by lv1 via [[AIM_Manager#0x19005_-_Get_Open_PS_ID|aim_spu_module using packet id 0x19005]].
 
The PSID can be found in EID5, see Flash (NOR @ 0x303E0).

Or with "PSID patch v1.0" (for cfw 3.41) and "PSID patch v1.5" (for cfw 3.55) made by stoker25, this programs shows your current PSID, and let you spoof it in memory with other values (the change is not permanent). http://psx-scene.com/forums/f6/%5Bps3-src%5D-psidpatch-1-0-a-70709/
 
Another way you can obtain your PSID is from one of the values of the parameter [[PARAM.SFO#PARAMS | PARAMS]] used by the [[PARAM.SFO]] of all gamesaves generated by games in "PS3 format" (not present in PS1, PS2 or PSP gamesaves)
