External Connectors

The PS3 uses several types of common/standard connectors, with one proprietary connector for backwards compatibility (MultiAV).

Proprietary audio/video connector used by Sony on many devices, e.g. Sony TVs, Sony consoles Playstation 1/Psone, Playstation 2/PStwo, PlayStation X/PSX, Playstation 3/PS3.

Contains the following signal standards:

  • Component video: RGB(-scart/dsub)
