TOSLINK Output circuit - Optical Audio

optical audio path

generic:

  • from RSX the digital audio is 1.5V level
  • IC2501 6-710-429-01 TC7WP3125FK(T5RSOF - 8pin IC is a 1.5V>3.3V level shifter
  • IC2409 TOSLINK takes 3.3V level input

COK-001 / CECHAxx + CECHBxx

goes from RSX BGA-pad AV18 (SPO0) to R2051 (22Ω) -> RS_SPDO // RS_SPDO goes to pin 2 of IC2501 (TC7WP3125FK(T5RSOF)
RS_SPDO_33 comes from pin 7 of IC2501 (TC7WP3125FK(T5RSOF)
RS_SPDO_33 goes to layerhole to R2412 and goes directly to IC2409 (TOSLINK connector)

COK-002 / CECHCxx + CECHExx

goes from RSX BGA-pad AV18 (SPO0) to R2051 (22Ω) -> RS_SPDO // RS_SPDO goes to pin 2 of IC2501 (TC7WP3125FK(T5RSOF)
