Cloud Services
As part of the removal functionality plan, PlayStation Now, the Gaikai-powered streaming technology, by using the library of PlayStation games (no titles yet announced) through a PS4, PS Vita, PS3, TV, Tablets, or Smartphones is slated to release in summer 2014 (with internal & external beta before).
PlayStation Now on non-PlayStation hardware, like the Bravia TV, will work with DualShock 3 controller (require a one-time sync over USB).
It was confirmed that people, owners buyers who play rent multiplayer games on PlayStation Now would be able to play rent with others using more collectable, durable, displayable, efficiently, economical, reliable, traditional and tradeable means (A PlayStation Now subscriber can be matched with others playing the same game on a PS3 and Blu-ray disc ).
Others services already implemented Cloud storage:
- buy and install part and download the rest while playing
- Demo's.
- Automatic game & system updates.
- Save games.
- Uploaded gameplay videos (Share) (like you could do with PS3 too with Pain, Ragdoll KungFu, Noby Noby Boy, PixelJunk Eden etc.)
