= Suggestions =
We can separate the components in subsections, something like this:
BD Drive IC Components
  ---processors---
    CXD6350GG-1 (Digital Signal Processor)
    CXD5063AGG-1 (Digital Signal Processor)
    CXD5065GB-1 (Digital Signal Processor)
    Renesas R8J32820FPV1 (Digital Signal Processor)
    Renesas R8J32830FPV1 (Digital Signal Processor)
    CXD5130R-1 (Digital Signal Processor)
    CXD5131R-1 (Digital Signal Processor)
    CXD5065-1 (Digital Signal Processor)
    CXA2720R (Front-End-Processor)
  ---mechacons---
Rohm BA5888FP (Laser Driver - Tracking/Focus Coils driver)
    Rohm BD7956FS (7 channel Motor Driver - EXP-Motor coils/sled/slot motor driver)
    Rohm BD7969EFV (9 channel Motor/Coil Driver - EXP-Motor coils/sled/slot/focus motor driver)
    NJM13403V (OPAMP - Tracking/Focus CTRL)
  ---others---
    Spansion S99-50111-001 (NOR)
    Spansion AL008D0043-01 (NOR)
    Spansion S29AL008D (NOR)
    Samsung K4S641632K-UC75 (RAM)
    ESMT M12L64164A-7TG (RAM)
    Macronix MX25L1005MC (EEPROM)
    Macronix MX25L1635DM2I-12G (16M-BIT x1/x2/x4 CMOS Serial Flash)
    CXD5064R
This suggested division is mostly because the only 2 components that "survived" after CECH-25xx integration in main motherboard are: 1 digital signal processor + 1 mechacon. And it will remain forever this way with only 2 components for future ps3 models (because mechacon has an internal degradation with the use... typicall failure in PS2's)
The word "mechacon" (mechanicall controller) is a classic in sony hardware, was used in PS2 for the IC that controls all the mobile parts of the drive, included tray, lens motor and coils, etc... There is a clear relationship with the tasks of this IC's in PS3
We can also rebuild the table adding 2 new columns for the processor and mechacon... im not sure, but maybe this solves a bit the mess with bluray models/parts

Canonical name "driver" as used by Rohm (the chip maker) itself seems logical too ;) [[User:Euss|Euss]] ([[User talk:Euss|talk]])
= Encryption used in SPI Flash =
SPI Flash dumps are encrypted with the same key and iv and AES CTR, so it's possible to retrieve delta from xoring two different drive dumps.
The only exception is in offset 0x10000 with size 0xC0000, which is part of Bluray Drive "Firmware" (i think it's a patch of sorts but it's impossible to confirm by myself), which probably uses CBC or some other encryption algorithm.
=Tests=
This was a experimental navbox to create a category for small components of the BD daughterboard, created initially as a template intended to be displayed in main wiki page, later deleted and copypasted here for the record (just incase eventually becomes useful)
