Three modes exist for DualSense for flashing the firmwares. They are the following:

DFU Primary Boot Loader Mode[edit | edit source]

  • Used to flash only the secondary boot loader (SBL)

DFU Secondary Boot Loader Mode[edit | edit source]

  • Used to flash Main Firmware (Banana) Venom Firmware (Audio) and Onion Firmware (DSP)

Main Mode[edit | edit source]

  • Used to flash Venom Firmware (Audio), Onion Firmware (DSP) and Bluetooth Patches.

The ways to trigger these modes are still unknown but they will be further documented when they get found below
