AV Manager

AV Manager is part of the sysmgr within LV1.

It is used to control the display and audio output of the PS3.

  • Communicates with RSX (0x28000000000) and Syscon (0x24000080000).
  • Syscon handles EDID, HDCP and HDMI controller stuff.
  • RSX handles the output. (Resolution, colour output format (RGB, YCC601, YCC709), Scaling, and input color format (R8G8B8X8, R5G6B15, A1R5G5B5, etc...)
