The dump_sysrom.pkg was inially ment to be able to dump the bootloader and developed by Glevand. As it turned out, that did not work as intended on the first 2 tries. The dumping of bootldr by temporary demasking was first addressed by Memdump. This is why glevand will mention it as a bootldr or sysrom dumper in readme/git, and psdevwiki will try to avoid confusion by linking to the [[sysrom.bin]] page instead. bootldr vs sysrom controversy

The dump_sysrom.pkg was inially ment to be able to dump the bootloader and developed by Glevand. As it turned out, that did not work as intended on the first 2 tries. The dumping of bootldr by temporary demasking was first addressed by Memdump. This is why glevand will mention it as a bootldr or sysrom dumper in readme/git, and psdevwiki will try to avoid confusion by linking to the sysrom.bin page instead. Euss (talk)
