bootldr vs sysrom controversy[edit source]

The dump_sysrom.pkg was initially ment to be able to dump the bootloader and developed by Glevand. As it turned out, that did not work as intended on the first 2 tries. The dumping of bootldr by temporary demasking was first addressed by Memdump. This is why glevand will mention it as a bootldr or sysrom dumper in readme/git, and psdevwiki will try to avoid confusion by linking to the sysrom.bin page instead. Euss (talk)

ah yes, forgot to tell that i've dumped it with lv1 peek and poke. and i ran the self through gamesonic, i didn't run through pkg. - 02:36, 14 June 2014‎ 2.80.197.29
I've tested this, and this works as expected. i've used PS3ITAManager in rebug 4.46 to load the self. works flawlessly.
And i think it's a better alternative than going back to 3.55. but that's me.
here's a video i made of it working (it's a little trembly) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4y2xhP1d4GI Zecoxao
