Enable IDU Mode[edit | edit source]
To enter IDU Mode, it is required to insert a PS4 IDU Utility disc in the console or to enable it in Debug Settings.
Via PS4 IDU Utility disc[edit | edit source]
No PS4 IDU Utility disc was ever dumped, although the PS Vita one was dumped and the PS5 one is proved to exist.
Via Debug Settings[edit | edit source]
You can enable IDU Mode in Debug Setting by selecting "IDU mode" then "On".
<list id="id_system_idu_mode" title="IDU mode" key="/SYSTEM/SPECIFIC/idu_mode"> <list_item id="id_system_idu_mode_off" title="Off" value="0"/> <list_item id="id_system_idu_mode_on" title="On" value="1"/>
Via registry edit[edit | edit source]
