The Product Code is an identifier that determines the model and region of the console. Temporary name was "Target ID".

The 5th and 6th byte in IDPS represents your Product Code. It can be found in EID0 and EID5. See Flash, More System Information, and SKU Regioning.

- Product Code 0x8D (not in the list above) was reserved for china ( CEX /Template:Shop, region code CN9, suffix 09) but never was used in profuction because the PS3 never was released in this region
- A list with the region Code/ID's can be seen on /dev_flash/vsh/module/sysconf_plugin.sprx and seems to be simular to PSP
- Not in this table: PROTO Prototype (mostly TOOL or SD themselves)
- There is no Product Code, no IDPS nor EID on CEB units.
